New workshops at Foredown Tower, near Brighton.

 Foredown Tower

Well, I'm home from the Bluewater show, it was great fun and I enjoyed meeting so many of you. Thank you so much for coming to say Hello!

I have booked Foredown Tower in Portslade near Brighton for six workshops from this October to next July. They make up a 'course' of kind. They start with design and end with Tyvek. I have already started taking bookings as I launched them with my September newsletter last week and then took a few more bookings at the Bluewater show so don't take too long if you fancy coming to play . . . .

The views from the Tower are stunning.

I had such a great time teaching at Foredown Tower over the past two months I wanted to teach there more often. It is a kooky kind of place. There is a cafe on the ground floor, the teaching room is on the middle floor and the camera obscura is on the top floor with great views over the downs. Access to the teaching floor is via an external metal staircase so there is no disabled access yet I'm afraid. Foredown Tower can be seen from the A27 on the way to and from Worthing. The short track leading to it is a bit pot holed but this is being sorted - at some stage. I just love the charm of the place - so do most of the students I taught there previously as most of them have booked for more workshops.(it must be because I promised cake!).

Weekend workshops at Foredown Tower with Kim Thittichai

I have born in mind what a lot of you have been asking for - particularly the design and printing block weekends. I just hope that those of you who have been asking will be able to make these particular weekends.

6 Weekend workshops that link together or can be booked separately.
Only 10 students per weekend.
Take time out to play . . . .

One of the most exciting products to be used in textiles! We will paint it, layer it, stitch it, heat it & incorporate it with other synthetics to create fascinating textures, beads, vessels or sculptural forms.

For booking information go www.kimsworkshops.com you can download a booking form. If you have trouble with the booking form, just copy and paste the information and email it to me. It only appears to work if you are running Firefox.

I hope some of you find this interesting, I thought I had better let you all know before the courses got too booked up.
