Updates on Kim's workshops 2014

A collage created from a section of 'The Journey' by Helen Fallowfield.
Helen finished the four year version of Experimental Textilesten years       ago  - and still refers to her design sources from the course as inspiration for current work. I am teaching this design workshop at Art Van Go June 1th and 11th - see below.

Hello everyone - Happy Friday!
I am not teaching many workshops this year as I am doing so many shows. Many of you are not used to going onto my diary either on this blog or my website to see where and when I am teaching, so this post may help. I am teaching at a new venue in Brighton, the first weekend is in July - there may be more to follow if we can sort out dates.

Have a read and see if there is anything you fancy - there are at least two places left on all the courses at the time of writing this post. I hope to see some of you soon. Any questions? - email me - info@kimthittichai.com

Here are some images from last years Creating Original Designs course at Art Van Go - we did have a good time. Working to music and eating chocolates - it's a tough life!!! WE are always so well looked after at Art Van Go.

Playing with shape and composition.

A rather splendid positive and negative print from when I taught the same course at Art Van Go last year.

I am only teaching this workshop once this year - and it's at Art Van Go, one of my favourite places to teach - so those of you who have been asking about it need to take note!
It is all very simple and you get some amazing results - all totally original.

Experimental Textiles - We are about to close enrolments for this course as we start at the end of June in Redditch.
The nine weekends cover all the basic skills and techniques you need to work confidently and independently. Have a look at the website and look at the course outline my video - experimentaltextiles.com

I love teaching this course - we have great fun and work hard (and quite often eat cake) producing original and exciting work. If you are interested and wish to ask questions, just email me - info@kimthittichai.com.

Students have plenty of room to work and develop ideas.

Four of the girls getting down to printing with blocks they have made themselves from designs created on the first weekend.

The end of year show at the NEC Birmingham.

If you are on Facebook - have a look at what we been achieving on the course

Whether you are looking for a short course or something longer - hopefully I can offer you what you are looking for.
